Published by Morten Rand-Hendriksen | Filed under Gaming, News
Electronic Arts boss John Riccitiello sat down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal. In it he talks about how the gaming industry has painted itself into a corner by releasing ever more complicated sequels of successful games rather than coming up with new ideas. “We’re boring people to death and making games that are harder and harder to play” he says and cites the fact that the industry is pandering to the hard core gamer and losing the casual ones to other forms of entertainment.
